Fender/side trunk/box/pannier Trim : Universal Fit
This is a Fender/side trunk/box/pannier Trim which should fit most fenders.
Made from high quality 304 grade stainless steel, with a mirror finish on one side
undernreath the plastic protective cover.
Measures approximatley 12 x 5 inches. Has 5 mounting holes.
Would be easy to install on a flat of curved surface. To curve it all you need to do is to gently press it onto the fender, or a wheel, drum etc to get the curve you want. Then you can mark the hole positions on the item you're mounting it to, drill out the holes and fix it in place with 6mm bolts from the underside of the fender, box etc , put in a spacer between the fender and underside of the trim (a nut with washers will be perfect) .... and on the top you can use whatever you like, eg, a nut, an acorn nut, a flange nut etc.
Being stainless steel, unlike chrome, it will not rust, and if it gets scratched you can easily just polish the scratch away with a soft rag and stainless polish.
