Looking at the gear lever from the front
.The brake and gear levers are "lazer cut" and have a very neat finish to them .
Both levers will have three holes , each hole at a different height which will allow you to mount your "shifter or brake peg" at the height that suits you .
The holes are cut to a common size which will allow you to fit an aftermarket shifter peg or brake peg that you like . There are dozens of aftermarket pegs available , now you can have the option to choose the one you like .
As an example , the shifter and footpegs peg in the photo's are Kuryakyn , For the brake side i'll be using a Kuryakyn "Longhorn" peg which is the same design , just a little longer .
NOTE The shifter (only on the front control) linkage is such that the changing sequence is the same to that of the normal . IE , to change into 1st gear you click the lever forwards and to change to 2nd , 3rd etc you pull backwards on the lever . The stock gear lever remains exactly the same as usual . It works like a charm . Selecting all gears and neutral is easy .
The entire setup for both sides has been designed to be a bolt on item . No drilling , cutting or welding is required.
Your existing brake and gear levers remain as they are and can be used as per normal .
Honda Valkyrie Forward Controls
Only fits the Standard and Tourer . Does not fit the Interstate .
Not recommended for riders shorter than 5'8"
Cannot be used with a toe/heel shifter .......without a small modification.
The crashbar mounted footpeg and shifter peg in the above photo's are an example of what you can use . There must be dozens of variations available .
Buy the footpegs of your choice and simply bolt the peg onto the bracket at the height you prefer.
The photo's below on the gear shift side are of the final product. Look closely at the stock gear shifter (clearer photo's at the bottom of this page)and you'll notice the lazer cut lever that simply bolts to the stock gear lever , it connects to another linkage which takes the linkages forward . If you want to remove the tappet cover , the forward control lever simply gets removed by taking out two 6mm bolts and slips off it's shaft .
All in all , a very neat looking product that looks like it's "part of the bike" .
